Girls Garage Scholarship Fund

All donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar by our generous donors John Sander and Patti White.

We want every girl to learn how to weld, build, use power tools, and take on the world. We have committed to making sure that all girls, regardless of financial ability, have equal access to our programs. While our programs are tuition-based, we offer partial and full scholarships to more than half of our participants.

Each year, we enroll up to 150 girls in our after-school and summer programming. For the 2016-2017 school year, we hope to raise $20,000 to cover the cost of approximately 75 full session scholarships for girls who need assistance. These scholarship allow girls to attend Girls Garage programming for free, including all materials, a t-shirt, and food and snacks. In some cases, we can help families cover the cost of transportation to and from our location.

You can donate to cover one girl’s scholarship for a single session, or an entire year of programming (fall, winter, spring, summer). Or, you can also contribute to cover the material cost for one girl. We sincerely appreciate your generosity in any amount to help us make our programming accessible to all.
